The "Commission de Promotion des Vins & Crémants de Luxembourg" was founded in 2002 by the three groups of producers from Luxembourg 's Moselle :
The "Domaines Vinsmoselle", The "Organisation Professionnelle des Vignerons Indépendants" [the Professional Organisation of Independent Winegrowers] and the "Fédération des Producteurs-Négociants" [the Federation of Producers and Merchants].
Its mission consists of developing, establishing and implementing programmes that allow the attainment of the following objectives:
to create a new brand image for Luxembourg 's wines and crémants,
to position wine products on the national and international markets,
to develop new high value-added opportunities to maintain the winegrowing sector among the economical sectors with good prospects.
